Ten Years

It seems like yesterday that I passed the five year mark at what was then Facebook. Since then, my role has changed, the company has gone through several rounds of layoffs. It even got a new name.

While there have been many changes in the company, all of what I wrote five years ago still rings true. There is a mission that I still truly believe in that helps quell the doubts. The benefits have been huge in helping keep my family healthy and sane through the pandemic and everything else. We’re able to make some dreams come true in our house move here in the next week. More to come on that down the road.

Here’s to 10 years. I can officially say I’m not going to make it another 10 years at the company as I have some plans to retire before then. Will it be with Meta, hard to say. But I’m enjoying the journey while it lasts.
