Recently, a top Pakistan official has been spouting his mouth off about the US and the hunt for Bin Laden.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Pakistan Official, has the following statement, “there are no U.S. or other foreign military personnel on the hunt for Osama bin Laden in his nation, and none will be allowed in to search for the al-Qaida leader.”

I understand that the Pakistan government believes that they have the ability to catch Bin Laden on their own. But he’s been hiding out there for several years with little to no results so far.

I really wish this was a joke. But unfortunately, it is not. The name of the AHL team in Des Moines Iowa is now called the “Iowa Chops”.

I knew that we were screwed when I heard that the new NHL affiliate was going to be the Anaheim Ducks. Its an NHL team based off a Disney movie. We should have expected the same corny half ass marketing for the AHL club.

Well, its been a few weeks since I posted and that’s for a pretty good reason. I have been taking some R&R in the great country of Germany. My wife and I escourted over her grandparents where we eventually met up with her parents. The total vacation was 12 days, but it seemed like 12 hours. It went by way too damn fast.

I’ll have pictures posted to the flickr account here in the next few days and will begin my semi-regular posting again here shortly.

George Carlin, the influential comedian whose routines used profanity, scatology and absurdity to point out the silliness and hypocrisy of human life, has died. He was 71.

Carlin, who had a history of heart trouble, died of heart failure Sunday in Los Angeles, according to publicist Jeff Abraham. Carlin went into St. John’s Health Center on Sunday afternoon, complaining of chest pain, and died at 5:55 p.m. PT.

Carlin performed as recently as last weekend at the Orleans Casino and Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada, and maintained a busy performing schedule, which included regular TV specials for HBO.

At work, I have a project that has been going on for a month or two. It originally started out as replacing our Hosted Exchange 2003 environment with a new fancy Exchange 2007 environment and add on extra features. To provision this, we have decided to abandon our own provisioning system due to various issues with documentation (or lack there of it) from Microsoft. So, we have decided to drink the Kool-Aid and are rolling with their HMC (Hosted Messaging and Collaboration). At first we were going to roll with the 4.0 version but a consultant stated that HMC 4.5 was expected to be out on 6/13. As it turns out, it was released yesterday.
