I have to say, I was a little shocked that the bailout plan failed today.

Not that I don’t think some version of it won’t pass in a few days. But there is outrage over this bill. People are pissed that our tax dollars, for generations to come, will be spent bailing out the greedy bastards on Wall Street. Apparently Congress was receiving calls from constituents at a rate of 9-1 disapproving of the bill. Congress failed to pass it, good for you. You listened to the people that are going to re-elect you.

I typically don’t read the Huffington Post. At least not on a regular basis anyway. But this article caught my eye on digg so I hoped over there.

First, read the article. Its rather shocking.

Then, contact your state Senators and Representatives and express the outrage you now have for the fact that the executive branch can spend 700 billion dollars of our money on bailing out their idiot friends.

I’m sure that there will be some people that may comment on if we don’t do this, we’ll have another depression. And that *may* happen. But I’m willing to bet that even after we bail out all these companies, most of them will still fail. And we’ll be screwed out of our money because in reality, they should fail.

Sen. John McCain’s senior domestic policy adviser said Tuesday that the BlackBerry mobile e-mail device was a “miracle that John McCain helped create.”

Sen. John McCain “laughed” when he heard his adviser’s remark about the BlackBerry, another aide says.

The adviser, Douglas Holtz-Eakin, discussing the nation’s economic woes with reporters, said that McCain — who has struggled to stress his economic credentials — did have experience dealing with the economy, pointing to his time on the Senate Commerce Committee.

An assisstance dog calls 911 and saves his owner’s life last week in Scottsdale.

A dispatcher with the Scottsdale Police Department took a call from an assistance dog who barked on the other end of the line.

The dog was trained to call 911 whenever his owner lays down and is unresponsive. All the buttons on the phone are preprogrammed to dial 911.

This isn’t the first time the dog has called 911.

For the most part, I like France. Its a nice place to visit, most of the people that I’ve met have been fairly nice, at least the ones that have come over here to study and visit. Heck, I even got engaged over there back in 1999.

However, today re-affirmed why most people hate the french. We have a few domains that are registered with a registrar that is based out of Paris France. We bought the company that used this registrar so this is some of the cleanup that just hasn’t happened over the years.
