Wow, I didn’t think that it would get to this point. But Brett Favre has been traded to the NY Jets.
Its kind of sad to think of #4 as anything other than a Packer. But based on some of the things that have been reported, I’m not that surprised anymore.
Good Luck Brett, Thanks for the memories.
Now Go Pack GO!!!!
If you don’t know who #4 is, you’ve been living under a football rock for the past 16 years. I’m of coarse referring to the immortal Brett Favre. After retiring in March, he has changed his mind and the league has finally reinstated him.
As a packer fan, I’m a bit torn. I love watching #4 hurl the ball. He’s exciting to watch. But, at the same time, he was a jackass in the off season.
Last week, the 100 pushup challenge caught my eye somewhere on the ‘net so I decided to check it out. Seemed pretty straight forward. It is a nicely laid out program to get your body in shape to do 100 consecutive push ups. Now, push ups are push ups and not something that I do on a regular basis. At least, not normal boring push ups 😉
I am one of the believers of Combat Conditioning.
The wife and I decided to get out today and catch a film. Both of us wanted to see the Dark Knight as the trailer looked pretty damn cool.
Now, I’m not going to give anything away but I will say 3 things about the film:
It was a bit longer than I expected, maybe 15-30 minutes longer than it needed to be. The movie lives up to the hype. Its worth checking out.
Recently, a top Pakistan official has been spouting his mouth off about the US and the hunt for Bin Laden.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Pakistan Official, has the following statement, “there are no U.S. or other foreign military personnel on the hunt for Osama bin Laden in his nation, and none will be allowed in to search for the al-Qaida leader.”
I understand that the Pakistan government believes that they have the ability to catch Bin Laden on their own.
