I’m not completely sold on how useful this will be. But I’m looking forward to the big boss getting hers so I can play with the Siri app. This looks pretty damn awesome. If it does a HAL voice, I may have to upgrade early

Collaborative Spreadsheet

4 people worked together simultaneously on a single Google Docs spreadsheet. Each cell in the 100 row x 186 col spreadsheet was filled using 18 different colors. The entire process was captured in time-lapse.

Why work doesn’t happen at work

This is one of my biggest frustrations at work. I tend to get more done when I have the headphones on, email closed, IM on do not disturb, and no meetings scheduled. This is done the easiest at home.

One step we can take to help our fellow co-workers out is, don’t IM them, email. You can safely ignore email for a while. IM should be reserved for ‘I need your attention right now!’
