Health Care

Yes, I’m going there. But not for the reasons that you might expect. I’m not going to make this a right vs left, red vs blue, or bears vs packers issue. I’m going about this from a bit of experience in the not so distant past. My wife and I had been traveling in another state and unfortunately had to take a trip to the emergency room. It was early in the morning when she fell ill.

ClimateGate

For some reason, the Climate Gate articles have not made enough of a splash in the main stream media. I’m sure that the conspiracy theorist will have a reason why this is happening. I just don’t think that the story has gotten enough attention yet. So…here is a pretty good article on what has happened: [For some reason, the Climate Gate articles have not made enough of a splash in the main stream media.

Responsiblity, Hard Work, Commitment

Have we forgotten already who Barack Obama is? It seems that we have. Apparently President Obama is giving a speech tomorrow to kids across the country in K-12 schools. He’s talking about responsibility, hard work and commitment. You know, the values that our country holds near and dear to our hearts. Core values that each and every one of us should celebrate in our children. Yet, apparently there is a bit of controversy.

Budget Cuts

Big numbers are hard to visualize and put into context. I think that this video does a nice job of explaining the 100 million that the Obama administration wants to cut. I’ll give them credit, you have to start somewhere, but there is a LOT more that can get cut. Keep going guys!

Some people need a beating…

OK, I get people wanting to stand up for their rights, but from the very beginning, this guy was an arrogant asshole. He has no respect for authority. He was abusive and non cooperative when asked simple questions. He deserved to be detained. Now, the person stating he has no rights at a checkpoint is NOT cool. But I still think he was an ass and deserved a thumping. And that’s just listening to the first 5 minutes of the video.
